Dear Sacred Heart Families,
All engines are full steam ahead for Festival next weekend October 5th, 6th and 7th!   I would like to remind you that there will be NOON DISMISSAL ON FRI. 10/5 AND THERE WILL BE NO DAYCARE. THERE WILL BE NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY, OCT. 8TH.   I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who are working tirelessly to ensure a successful festival. Special thanks to Paul Pignotti and Tim Hatfield who have chaired  this year! Our annual Blessing of the Animals will be held on Thursday, October 4th at 8am in the quad. A flyer was sent home on Sept. 14th with details. Please join us for our First Friday Mass at 10:30 on October 5th. This Mass will be planned by Grade 4. Please pray for our community as we make final preparations for our biggest fundraiser of the year...see you at the Festival!

Dear Sacred Heart Families,
Well, our 8th graders had a great trip to Washington DC over Easter break and today, our 4th and 5th graders are spending the day in Sacramento! We are so thrilled to be able to offer these great opportunities to our kids and grateful for the trust our parents have in us to allow their children to participate. *Next Friday, May 4th is our First Friday Mass at 10:30 planned by Grade 1. Following Mass we will have our May Crowning led by our 8th graders. This is a very special tradition here at Sacred Heart - sincere thanks to Mrs. Wick for all of her hard work in preparing.  Congratulations to Marilyn Gomez and her escort, Joshua Mendoza, who were selected by their classmates to crown Mary this year.  Girls may wear flowers in their hair to honor Mary and all students are welcome to bring a flower to present at our ceremony. Please keep our 2nd graders in your prayers as they prepare for First Holy Communion on Saturday,  May 5th at 10:00am. Progress Reports for 8th grade go home on Friday May 4th. For grades 1-7, they will go home Friday, May 11th.  The end of the school year is coming quickly! Please help us keep our kids focused during the days ahead!

With Love, Mrs. Luchonok, Principal
